The popularity of the eight-year-old bay gelding, : Miney Myerson, was definitely established last Saturday at the Fair Grounds when, after accounting for his third triumph of the current season, he was led to the paddock to find nine owners willing to shelter the aging son of Amberjack Marinette. Of the nine claimants who participated in the draw for Miney Myerson, Norman "Butsey" Hernandez came out the winner, thus keeping up his record of being able to outdraw rivals in the claiming wars.
