BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES f s : e Barns at Beulah Park that were destroyed by fire early in the fall have been rebuilt. John Galbreath, Columbus sportsman, has named his Francesco for the 0,000 added Widener at Hialeah March 4. Publication of the revised rules of Ohio racing for 1939 will be made early in January. It is understood that the Ohio commission is awaiting the meeting of the national association of state racing sions in Florida before divulging the revised rules. Benny Myres, former jockey and a resident of Grove City, is campaigning his stable at Charles Town. H. C. McCown, Ironton, secretary of the state racing commission, plans to leave next week for a Florida fishing trip. Dates asked by River Downs for 1939 have been formally approved by the state racing commission. River Downs will hold a forty-three-day meeting from May 20 to July 8, inclusive. Doug "Slim" Foy, jockey agent who handled the engagements of Mario Quintero at Detroit last fall, is wintering in Columbus. 9
