I CHARLES TOWN TURF NOTES J. Yancey Christmas of Upper Marlboro, Md., was a visitor. He stated that he altered his plans to race in California this winter and will ship his string of fifteen horses to Hot Springs. The stable is headed by the speedy sprinter, Rough Time. Al Getz of Baltimore is a visitor and will remain for the balance of the meeting. Getz has two yearlings wintering at Allan Clarks farm at Clarksville, Md. One of the youngsters is a filly by Mowlee and Beaten Biscuit, the latter a full sister to Seabiscuit J. J. Graddy, steward here and at other points, will return to his home at Lexington, Ky., at the conclusion of the current meeting. Following his refusal to break in the seventh race on Monday, starter William Hamilton refused to accept the further entry of Mrs. C. M. Feltners Bright Light. It was not the horses first offense.
