CHARLES TOWN TURF NOTESj The horses of F. J. Marvin are being prepared for winter racing at Havana. J. Bowes Bond is the latest owner to signify his intention to race at Hollywood, Fla. Gale D. Hough, Baltimore scribe who deserted Charles Town for winter racing in Florida, reported to mutuels manager J. Donald Hay here that he inspected the budding track at Hollywood, Fla., while en route and found it a beehive of activity. Construction of the plant is in progress night and day. Donald Hay will supervise the operation of the mutuel plant at the Broward County oval. Don Hay, Jr., son of the mutuel manager here and a key man in the operation of the mutuel plant, plans a vacation at Miami Beach prior to the onen mg of Hollywood, Fla.
