! TRAINER AND HORSE SUS- j PENDED FOR ONE YEAR j CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., Dec. 14. Trainer H. N. Stewart, of the Empress Stable, who received a ninety day suspension for the stimulation of the horse Tommy Rose, which won here and was disqualified on December 1, received additional punishment from the stewards today when it was learned that a positive reaction had also been received from the test taken of the same horse, which won here on December 6. The suspension is now for one year to terminate oh December 6, 1939. The horse Tommy Rose is also suspended for one year from date of suspension and his entry will be refused during that period which coincides with the period of suspension of the trainer. The case has also been referred by the stewards to the West Virginia Racing Commission, for any further action deemed necessary. The Empress Stable is owned by E. Hem-stead, of Toronto.
