ST. LOUIS WATER SUPPLY ST. LOUIS, Mo., Dec. 14. A normal water supply of 120,000,000 gallons was pumped into St. Louis homes today by emergency crews at three of the four pumping stations of the city water works, where thirty-nine union engineers went on strike. Assurances that there was no danger of a water shortage were given by city officials. Small details of police were on guard at the three .pumping stations. The strike resulted from a jurisdictional dispute between two American Federation of Labor unions concerning workers employed at the pumping stations.
