1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES I $ . $ The horses Ralph Mcllvain brought here from Hot Springs for F. W. Williamsons Indian Lake Stable consists of Chance King, Inviting, Malmaison, Radio Gold, second to Ariel Toy in the Arkansas Derby, Maenerva, My Crest and For Romance. Elmo "Whitey" Daunehauer, arrived from California and reported that jockey Silvio Coucci would arrived here Saturday to enter the employ of Hal Price Headley. Charles B. Shaffer is at Coldstream Stud and although he will return to Chicago on Sunday, he plans to be here for the greater part of the Keeneland meeting. Twelve horses, the property of Hal Price Headley, will leave here Saturday for Havre de Grace in charge of Duval Headley. Others belonging to the president of the Keeneland Association will be trained by their owner. Miss Martha Brown, secretary of the Keeneland Association was at her desk Friday after an absence of several days due to illness. The horses shipped to the local track by Bennett Creech which race for his wife are Tunbridge, Grey Streak, Gato, Dusky Prince, Crout au Pot, Sister Polly, Perfect Maid, Bel Espoir and Flying Watch. The horses came here from Hot Springs. George South, popular with local racing fans, came in Friday from his home in New-burg, Md. South is under engagement to H. H. Battle, who is training the F. L. B. Stable horses. Fraction numerals will be used on the saddle cloth of horses here instead of alphabets when there is an entry in a race. Instead of the "A" being used when there is only one entry in a race the figure "1" will be used. The other part of the entry will be designated as "12."
