T KEENELAND TURF NOTES f and John Hazza unloaded Repeller, Jocks Betsy, Pause and two others that were shipped from Hot Springs. John Zoeller brought in thirteen horses for the Glad Acres Farm and four of them found quarters at Keeneland. The others are stabled at the trotting track. Mose Lowenstein, who wintered his stable at Keeneland, has arranged to transfer it to Havre de Grace next week. .. . William Kenney reported that the two-year-old Paris Pike is running a temperature and that as soon as his condition warrants it, the youngster will be shipped to the Kenney farm in Bourbon County. Others Kenney has here are Glen Kenney, which has yet to enter competition, and Valvesta. Two horses, the property of O. A. Bianchi, and one that races for E. Jouett Reed, arrived from Hot Springs. Stalls have been bedded for the division of the I. J. Collins stable Al Miller is bringing here from Louisville. F. A. Smith, who was injured during the Hialeah Park meeting, arrived from Hot Springs and reported to trainer William Hurley at Idle Hour Farm. Gene Wagers, Mooncoin and Staekel, a three-year-old son of Chatover Malba, which are now quartered at Louisville, will be taken over by Keene Daingerfield, Jr., upon his arrival at that point. John McShane brought Kates Kitten, Nut-rush, Chinatown and the two-year-olds Oliva Saxon and Brown Street over from Churchill Downs. Chalphone, Contrast, Ma Metz and three other horses the property of J. C. Metz arrived from Hot Springs. Galloping horses every morning and down to 112 pounds, the veteran rider, Willie Kern, expects to return to the saddle during the local meeting. Kern will probably have his first mount on a two-year-old during the Keeneland session. Jockey John Barba was an arrival from ,Miami and has given Cliff Porter first call on his services. 1 Tom Moran, who has charge of stabling accommodations here, came in from Hot Springs today. Stopping off at Hot Springs on his way. from Santa Anita, Roy Slomer, former trainer, who is without horses, put in his appearance at the local track Friday morning.
