I CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES f J g Trainer J. J. Flanigan has been advised that the juvenile colts owned by the Val-dina Farms of Emerson F. Woodward will not be transferred here from Texas for another two weeks. Only the older horses and the two-year-old fillies in the Valdina string are at Churchill Downs. Frank Rector, Maderis Dupuy, J. E. Mason, J. L. Winscher, Rush McCoy and C. E. Dale are among the latest to check in at Douglas Park with their horses. The horses George Land has here for J. C. Milam are to be transferred to Keeneland shortly. Included in the shipment will be the two Kentucky Derby eligibles Opelika and Decatur. William Shelley, Tom Shelley and James T. Clark returned to Louisville after a days visit at Keeneland. Thomas Bragg, owner of a pretentious stable, and Don Cameron, his trainer, arrived here from California. They inspected the Bragg two-year-olds which wintered here in care of W. G. Douglas.
