I TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES 1 Jockey George Rose is scheduled to leave for New York at the close of the meeting to await the metropolitan racing season opening at Jamaica. Jimmy Jones, owner of the camera in use at Tropical Park, returned from Maryland where he supervised the installation of the photo finish camera at Bowie. Jones will remain until the close of the meeting arid may remain over longer to watch the construction of his new home being built in Coral Gables. Harry Stevens H. returned from New York and Baltimore to take charge of the H. M. Stevens, Inc., concessions at Tropical Park. Paul B. Codd left for New York to take up several horses that were turned out during the cold months. The horses that remained here will be shipped after the close of the meeting. Nick Huff, agent for jockey E. Arcaro, departed for his home in Washington, D. C. At a later date he will leave for Lexington to book the mounts of the Greentree Stable rider and his son, W. C. Huff. Jockey Chuck Charlton, contract rider for E. Haughton, packed his riding equipment and departed for Lexington, Ky., to report to his employer. Charlton rode thirty-three winners during the present meeting and was second on the list of leading riders. Apprentice Euclid Le Blanc, who signed a contract to ride for Jack Whyte for one year, stated that he would leave for Lexington at the close of the meeting to spend a vacation before reporting to his employer at Narragansett Park. Al Dickey has taken over the engagement book of jockey T. E. Ward and will accompany the lad to Lexington at the close of the meeting here. Trainer Bob Mozer, former rider, has made plans to ship his stock to Columbus, Ohio, at the earliest convenience. Shipment will likely be made on Tuesday. Trainer J. M. Milburn loaded the horses of the Starmount Stable for shipment to Havre de Grace. The further entry of Milk, owned by the River Divide Farm, was ordered refused for the rest of the meeting for inconsistency in her racing. The order was issued by the I stewards after the" six-year-old mare was returned an easy winner of the first race.
