DAY OFF IN CHESAPEAKE LEXINGTON, Ky., April 7. John Gaver announced today that Day Off, winner of the Louisiana Derby, will fill his engagement in the Chesapeake Stakes. His effort in that stake will determine whether he will go post-ward in the Preakness Stakes. Day Off is not eligible to the Kentucky Derby.
