Oros, clever young rider, for the Kentucky Oaks, to be" renewed oh Saturday, May 13. Kickory and CoMite, two-year-olds owned by Mrs. R. J. Murphy of Evansville, Ind., will not race here. Trainer Otis Clelland had the former unsexed and reports Co-Mite temporarily out of training due to bucked shins. . « Linus Pierce arid "Sprig" Kennedy have been assigned by starter William Hamilton to handled the. schooling of horses at Douglas Park every morning. Arrivals at Douglas Park Friday morning from Keeneland included Durirovian Farm, 6; Glad Acres Farm, 9; Jim Burnett, 2, and J. C. Metz, 6. Inadequate vanning facilities have been responsible for the slight delay in transfers from Lexington. Jockey Eugenio Rodriguez, who will do the bulk of the riding for the Glad Acres Farm, and Les Pichon, free lance, were additions to the riding colony. Both came from Lexington. The stables trained by C. Hyde Smith and R. Mcllvain also moved in from Lexington, Friday. John Hazza, with Pause, Jocks Betsy, Re-peller and Red Tree, was another arrival from Keeneland. A request was received from J. H. Janson, trainer of the Border Farm stable, for stabling facilities for nine horses, but was advised by Tom Young to delay shipment to Louisville until after the running of the Derby.
