Over the Top* a handicap horse owned by A. M. Koewler, is back in training here, after having been freshened up since Santa Anita. By Man o War, Over the Top is "sulky" at times, but he has always shown a liking for the Meadows strip and may go well here this meeting. Jockey Freddie Scheih, under contract to J. H. Whitney, will do most of the riding for trainer Earl Beezley at this meeting. Scheih was aboard Roman Hero in his two handicap triumphs at Tanforan. Pollard and his bride were visitors at Bay Meadows on opening day. Trainer Jack Taylor reports that Mooney-brook, a six-year-old which was fired early in the year, is back in training again. Inauguration, also from the Taylor stable, has been fired and turned out. The plater Hastrarch, which was gelded fifteen days ago, is back in training and ready to race.
