1 BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES | s _ — I Former Gov. John M. Parker of Louisiana, under whose regime racing returned to New Orleans, died at Pass Christian, according to word received here. Trainer William Raybold transferred seven horses from the Lexington Fair Grounds to Keeneland and will go from there to Latonia. Trainer Woodie Stevens returned from Churchill Downs to Keeneland with a small string to await the opening at Latonia. He says he has room for three more horses. Roy Carruthers, much improved in health, has returned to his home at Versailles, after a business trip to Chicago. 1 -
