THORNCLIFFE RACE CLOSING TORONTO, Ont., May 25.— Nominations will close today for one of the feature races at Thorncliffe Park on Monday. . This has been named the Lou Marsh Memorial Handicap and is for three-year-olds over the six furlongs route. Horsemen are also reminded that nominations will close tomorrow for the Thorncliffe Handicap, §3,000 added, for three-year-olds and upward at one mile and a sixteenth, to be run on Wednesday. The latter race will no doubt bring together the best horses in training around here. Post time for the first race each day will be 2 oclock, the same starting time as in vogue at Woodbine Park. This starting time also applies to the three days the hurdles are run, namely, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday? The "Daily Double" at Thorncliffe will be the first and second races.
