ACE OF TRUMPS, ridden hard from the start, met stout opposition from CALEB in the. first three-quarters, saved much ground and continued courageously under a stout drive at the close. STEALING HOME was well placed in the early racing and finished with good energy. WORTHOWNING improved his position on the outside arid closed with good energy. TIMETTA was steadied nicely, but failed to rally when placed to a drive. CALEB forced a good pace, but tired after going three-quarters. FIRST FLING was held safe.
