Kilmer stable to Delaware Park for racing at that point. Starter George Cassidy banished Watch Over to the barred list for ten days due to his bad actions in the final race Wednesday. James Carroll of St.Louis, welf known winter book commissioner, was among Fridays visitors. Track superintendent Boyle reported that his track force turn over an average of fifty tons of soil each day while harrowing the main and training tracks. The force takes over when the tracks are closed shortly after 10 a. m. Preparations for the Memorial Day attendance were completed by Frank Stevens Friday. He will take the space in the clubhouse enclosure adjoining the commissioners for stable reservations, which he said exceeded those of the past few years. Jockey R. Donoso arrived from Boston and accepted mounts. He will ride Gilded Knight in the Withers. Steeplechase jockey F. Palmer accepted his first mount through the field Friday afternoon when he rode Flying Falcon. Trainer John Gaver, before departing for Boston, reported that his charge Roll and Toss would be returned to Belmont Park after fulfilling his engagement in a stake race there. Many trainers reported that the coughing epidemic was not as bad as that which prevailed last season. John "Bud" Archer, aged 78, died Friday in Jamaica Hospital. He was for over thirty years employed as night watchman by trainer Andrew Jackson Joyner, and for close to sixty years he was associated with racing in this country and Europe. He will be buried next Monday from 72 Clark Street, New Haven. Conn.
