CALIFORNIA BANKING MEASURE SACRAMENTO, Calif., May 26.— Both branches of the legislature have given their approval to a bill which allows the closing of banks in the state on Saturdays. The measure, which permits Saturday closing for banks at any time during the year that they desire, "now awaits the governors signature.
