TRY HARD WINS AT WOODBINE TORONTO, Ont., May 26.— Try Hard, three-year-old Trystcr and Mary T. gelding, racing for Connie Smythe, drove to a popular victory in the running of the Glanford Plate, feature of the semi-final day of the Woodbine Park spring meeting. Ridden by C. McTague for the stables sixth victory of the meeting, Try Hard came from far back of the pace and drove to a length and three-quarters victory over Tetragyn at the end of the six furlongs. Rye Grass was in third place, two lengths back and a length and one-half before Mrs. R. E. Websters The Calf. Mrs. R. H. News Denote, and Mrs. A. J. Routcliffes Bonnie Night "completed the field.
