GOLDEN CHIMES, in close quarters for a half mile and under steadying restraint, was steered to the outside of the leaders after reaching the stretch and, responding to strong urging, took command in the last stages, to win drawing away. LITTLE BEEP, hustled to the front, set a good pace, was steered to the inside to block VICUNA in the drive and failed to withstand the winner. VICUNA, under strong restraint while enjoving a contending position, was blocked when attempting to get through and tired thereafter. PARI OFFICE tired. MISS MINT DROP was in close quarters in the drive. The others were outrun. Overweight — Carlade, 1 pound ; Miss Kentex, 2. Apprentice allowance waived — Carlade. FIFTH RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. DOMINANT DARBY sprinted into a good early led, set a good pace, was put to strong handling when tiring and weakened rapidly in the last stages. BRIGHT saved ground and had no mishaps.
