The boy was turned over to J. J. Bussey for seasoning and will go to Florida with the Fitzsimmons-trained horses and then ride in New York next year. The boy is from the Bay Ridge district of Brooklyn. Settler, one of the Greentree Stable juven-J ile starters, is a half brother to the noted steeplechaser, Sailor Beware. Trainer Jack Goldsboro stated that Voli-• tant will be reserved for the Empire City Handicap, to be run on July 15. The Brookmeade Stables Handcuff will be returned to Delaware Park after fulfill-f ing her engagement in the Brooklyn Handi-I cap. Jockey Sam Renick, whose services are under call to Harry Warner, of Los An-. geles, may go to Longaci es in Seattle to ride during that meeting. The condition book for overnight races at Empire City was distributed. Oscar Mackey took over the training of the horses owned by the Bristol Stable, succeeding J. F. Quinn. Mackey was assistant starter under George Cassidy. Jockey J. Stout will go to Delaware Park to ride Thellusson in the Kent Stakes on Saturday. Jack Campbell said that he did not expect any starters to ship here from other tracks for the Brooklyn Handicap. The division of the E. R. Bradley stable now at Suffolk Downs will be transferred to Empire City next week, John Morris, of the Saratoga Association, reported that he had on file numerous appli-0 cations for stable room at Saratoga Springs.
