TRIGGISH IS AGAIN VICTORIOUS I Accounts for Her Second Purse at ] Dufferin Park — Discount Acts Up at the Starting Gate. TORONTO, Ont., June 22.— The Maple Leaf Purse featured the fifth days racing at Dufferin Park, and six were named to race the about five furlongs route for a « purse of 00. Triggish, three-year-old * daughter of Tryster — Priggish, racing for the Cosgrave Stable, was the victor when she raced to a length score before W. T. Raines Discount. Third place went to the Erindale . Stables Golden Silence, a half-length back. x It was the second victory of the meeting i for the Cosgrave miss, she having accounted f for her last start on Saturday. She was f well ridden by H. Black. A large crowd was s on hand for the days racing, which was de- i cided under clear skies and over a fast track. There was a delay of two and one-half . minutes at the gate when Discount was frac- -, tious. He was sent to the outside of the j stalls and got away fast. As they drove for positions in the run to the first turn, Dis- t count took the lead and was closely fol- , lowed by Golden Silence on the inside, while Black took Triggish to the inside to save t ground. DISCOUNT BEARS OUT. I On the turn, Discount began to bear out and Golden Silence went to the front.
