tn of f 1- n in n d n e- 5, CLIPPER LEAVES FOUR BEHIND MARSEILLES, France, June 22.— An over-n •- load of gasoline required to make the long g detour around France and Spain to reach 11 Lisbon via Gilbraltar, made it necessary to o leave four observers behind in Marseilles s today when the Atlantic Clipper took off f on its return journey to America. The unlucky i- four were Mrs. Anne M. Archibald, I, of the Pan-American Airways, Washington, i, D. C; Miss Marjorie Shuler, Christian a Science Monitor correspondent of New York; .; W. VanDusen, Pan-American executive of f . New York, and Eugene Sibley. Bad weather r over the south of France made it impossible e to cross overland as has been done on the e trip here.
