Y., June 22.-A stone described as the largest rough emerald ever mined has been placed in a bank vault here by Jacques Issacharoff, member of a London firm of importers of precious stones. The stone is said to have been mined in Russia six centuries ago. It is to be shown to a private collector. The gem is insured at 50,000.
