STATE AMATEUR GOLFERS PLAY CHAMPAIGN, 111., June 22.— More than 100 amateurs from every section of the state are scheduled to perform in the Illinois Amateur Golfers Championship, which got under way at the Champaign Country Club course Wednesday. Among those scheduled to play are Johnny Holmstrom, of Rockford, defending champion; Larry Moler, of Quincy, and Warren Dawson of Chicago.
