In the consignments will be horses from some of the larger stables rac-h ing here. Horses already registered for the sale have come from the barns of Mrs. Ed McCuan, A. Ban-era, G. E. Pruett, Mrs. F. Stafford, A. R. Mann and Mrs. D. Christian, Blakeen and Love Boy changed hands. A. R. Mann traded the former to S. Stafford for Love Boy. W. Lyle Dowling purchased the three-year-h old Sunnie-Time from Miss H. Lawson. Des Dressen, popular manager of the Detroit pari-mutuel department, who has been confined to his hotel apartment suffering with an attack of influenza, was able to re-,h sume his duties Thursday. Acting for R. S. Ferguson, V. H. McMulIen purchased Vicuna and Margaret G. from R. O. Higdon. Another sale announced by R. O. Higdon was the sale of Spirit Queen which won the seventh race here Wednesday. Higdon disposed of the three-year-old daughter of Insco — Top Lady, to L. L. Lycan. Hubert Chapell, who trains for G. H. Ellis, is shipping Ellis five-year-old Bomber to Hamilton, Canada, next Monday. After filling an engagement there next Wednesday, the son of Man o War will be returned here. "Butsey" Hernandez announced the sale of the three-year-old Dustless to R. O. Hig-b don. Dustless, a gelded son of Hourless— La Maine II., has never started, In an even exchange, A. R. Mann swapped Chinese Red to G. E. Pruett for Little Son. R. O. Higdon purchased The Thrush and Bess B. from R. S. Ferguson. The new acquisitions will be taken to Arlington Park this week. Jake Silverberg, owner of Gentle Knight, winner of the first race here Wednesday, and G. H. Ellis, who owns Traffic Light, winner of the feature race on the same card, came down from Toronto and expect to remain un- til Saturday to witness the running of the Cadillac Handicap. Traffic Light, Bomber and Teddy Haslam, the latter the property of C. N. Mooney of Toronto, are scheduled starters in the ,500 added Cadillac. Mooney, who has Teddy Haslam here in charge of Hubert Chapell, will be here Saturday.
