FAIR ROCK raced wide throughout, worked her way to the front in the first quarter, drew clear while under a steadv hold on the turn and swerved in the stretch, but always held LADY WO safe. The latter, away fast and bavin" speed, was kept under good restraint to the stretch turn, closed well under strong Tiding, but did not seriously endanger the winner. EGYPTIAN BELLE, away fast, but unable to hold the advantage, entered contention on the inside and hung on with determination to the end. BUNNY JR. had no Mishaps. PREDICATE forced the early pace under a snug hold, was bumped repeatedly by the winner while being carried out through the stretch, but held on stubbornly and just failed to get up, although appearing much the best. COOPERSTOWN, well up from the start, saved much ground, but gave way slowly in the drive. LITTLE RULER raced wide much of the distance, held on well and was wearing down COOPERSTOWN.
