. All Horsemen Invited To H. B. P. A. Meeting CRETE, 111., May 26. Horsemen, whether they are members of the organization or not, have been invited to attend a meeting1 and buffet supper to be conducted by the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association at 8 oclock Friday night at the Hotel Thomas, Chicago Heights. The meeting has been called, by Monte Weil, president, who urges all horsemen to attend. The meeting has been called primarily for a discussion of racing as it fits in with the national war program and as the session will be conducted as an open forum all are invited to present their views. The associations committees for the coming season also will be appointed at the meeting.
