Fout New York Tracks Agree j To Assume Vanning Charges NEW YORK, N. Y., May 26. Marshall Cassidy, assistant secretary of The Jockey Club, acting for the four Metropolitan tracks, today announced that Aqueduct, Belmont Park, Empire City and Jamaica have agreed to assume all vanning charges of horses stabled at any of these tracks which have no accommodations at the course where racing is being held and where it is desired to run a horse at that time. These arrangements are being made with the Affiliated Moving Van Owners, Inc., and it is expected an early agreement will be reached so that the new plan will go into effect as soon as possible. A flat rate for vanning, charges for each horse that is brought to the receiving barn and starts on that day is now under discussion. The plan will help horsemen considerably and at the same time facilitate the problem of vanning horses from one track to another during the course of the racing
