Hernandez Signs Up Crowell COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 26. Cecil Lock-lear sold apprentice jockey Glen Crowells contract to Norman "Butzy" Hernandez. The youngster left Beulah Park Saturday to report to his new employer at Detroit. Crowell was the leading apprentice rider at this meeting. He rode his first winner at River Downs last October 30.
