LEICESTER closed with a brilliant rush on the outside through the final eighth and, linishing gamely, got up in the last few strides. BONANZA LOU was a forward factor throughout and finished courageously. DARBY DONNA displayed the most speed, setting a fast pace to the last seventy yards, then hung, but finished gamely. RED COIN raced well up to the last sixteenth, where he met with interference and was forced to take up. FINALLY showed early speed, but tired in the last eighth. SECOND RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. TASSELED GIRL moved up stoutly on the outside nearing the far turn and, taking command, held the race comparatively safe through the stretch. MAX GREENOCK began slowly, closed a wide gap and came strongly on the outside in the run home. PRIMZO was crowded back on the far turn, but saved ground in the stretch and finished strongly. MENTION raced into contention rounding the top turn and displayed good speed to the last sixteenth, then tired. RIVERBY BOY raced evenly. The others tired. ROYAL BROOM displayed the most early speed and held on with good courage. MISS PERSEL raced forwardly on the outside of the leader and held on better today. FALSE CARD saved ground in the stretch and finished strongly. LADY CONVENTION had no excuses and tired. QUEEN CLARICE dwelt when the break came. REGAL STELLA showed a flash "of early speed, then quit badly. PUNTA FINAL moved into the lead quickly when midway of the stretch and drew away decisively nearing the end. JOE GREENOCK displayed the most early speed, but finished tiring and was doing his best to stall off JUBILO. The latter raced forward throughout and was going strongly at the end. SURGEON DICK raced evenly. CHANCE TEA began slowly, but finished strongly on the outside. OLD BOOK saved ground for a half mile, failed to improve position and was tiring at the end. DONA NUTTER raced forwardly from the start and held on well. ONETTE suffered early interference, but closed quickly on the inside in the back stretch and held on gamely in the run home. GREY PERTROS was badly . crowded back in the first eighth, but closed a wide gap to finish fast. CREOSOTE was pulled up when RING O LOVE fell midway of the stretch. CAVE HILL, a keen factor throughout, held the others safe. FLORA SPAN raced forwardly on the outside from the start, but tired in the last eighth though much the best of the others. SECRET LOVER went into the lead with a rush after going three-quarters and bore out slightly through the last quarter, but held on well. INSCOMIRA could never improve fourth position and Finished tiring. SLIGHT ERROR began slowly and closed some ground, but could never get up. AZOTE pulled up slightly lame. The others tired.
