Increase in Week-End Purses CRETE, 111., May 28. There will be no purse on Saturdays, Decoration Day, program at Lincoln Fields worth less than ,000, it Was announced this morning by C. Bruce Head, who presides over the racing department. At the beginning of the meeting, Col. Matt J. Winn, executive director of the track, said that the purses would be increased if business justified. Saturdays card will embrace the usual eight races with post time for the first set at 2:15 oclock.
