FOE OWOE was sent through on the inside entering the stretch and, responding to urging, wore down GOOD LOOKING in the final drive. The latter, a prominent factor from the start, assumed command in the stretch and held on well. ROBERT F. was well up all the way and" had no mishaps. FELSWAY went wide entering the stretch. CHANCE OAK had early speed, then quit. COUNT FEARLESS finished with a rush. ICELAND had a flash of early speed. STILL POND saved ground. REAL MAN" showed an even effort. PAT OSEE could" not keep up. COURT BALL broke slowly. TROPICS had no mishaps. GHOST LIGHT had no excuses. ERIC KNIGHT forced the pace and held on with good courace. STEPSOME was on the outside and faltered at the end. CAIRNGORM had early speed and suffered no mishaps. BROWN GAL broke slowly. DEVILTRY was slow . to begin. CHERRY COBBLER ran in spots. CHATLET had no mishaps. GUILE was outrun. GUMMED UP had no mishaps. SWEET NUSHIE quit badlv. BATTER UP was never a factor. THE BEAK was sent into command after the start and, jumping well, was rated along steadily, then responded to pressure in the stretch and outlasted CUPID at the end. The latter was under steady restraint the first turn of the field, moved up when urged and hung after getting to the leader at the final fence. EQUIRITA, in near pursuit of the pace, moved up stoutly after a mile and a half, then tired. FREDERIC II. was under urging in the final half mile, then lost much ground at the final fence. COPPER-MAN was a prominent factor from the start and, on the outside, was placed under pressure in the stretch, then responded and held his opposition safe in the final drive. WALLER was away poorly, but improved his position and finished with good courage. YANKEE DANDY, under steady restraint early, was steered to the outside rounding the. stretch turn and came with a belated rush. TOLA ROSE forced the pace throughout and assumed command in the stretch, then faltered. MASTER HENRY was on the inside and a facfor throughout. PORTERS CAP showed a dull effort.
