IGO BOOM shook off EBONY BEE rounding the far turn and held the race safe all through the stretch. EBONY BEE, much the best of the remainder, was no match for the .winner. STATELY SOUL began slowly; but closed resolutely on the outside through the stretch. DONFINN raced forwardly from the start and had no excuses. BYCHANCE appeared sore behind while en route to the post and broke slowly, but closed some ground on the outside through, the stretch. THETA GIRL saved ground to the stretch, then .came to the outside of PRIMZO when an eighth out and, finishing stoutly, won going away. PRIMZO "displayed the most speed to the last sixteenth, but failed to withstand the winner. BELLE-TARA raced into contention rounding the far turn, saved ground in the " stretch and had no mishaps. TANGOWER LEE could never Improve position. PHILCADE shdwed a flash of early speed. The others were outrun. Scratched 23937 Michigan Gold, 105. BERTAWEST shook off PAIREVE when entering the stretch and drew away into an easy lead in the final eighth. BOB DODGE came with a rush on the outside in the final sixteenth and finished strongly. PAIREVE forced the early pace, but tired steadily after reaching the stretch. TOTAL LOSS worked way up strongly next to the inner rail through the stretch, but was blocked and forced to pull up sharply in the last seventy yards. WISE MARGARET, well up throughout, saved ground in the last quarter, but finished tiring. LUCKY LEE showed early speed, but tired in the run home. BLUE BOO closed much ground on the outside. LADY LUCILLE raced into contention at the far turn, but tired somewhat during the final test. MY DAY raced forwardly on, the outside of the opposition and finished strongly. BANK ME closed very "fast on the outside in the last eighth. WHIT moved up on the inside at the far turn, taking command, but carried STAIRS very wide all through the stretch, for which she was a disqualified STAIRS moved up strongly on the outside rounding the stretch turn, but finished gamely despite being carried to the extreme outside in the run home. KILLARNEY LASS saved ground throughout, came again nearing the end and outgamed ONUS. The latter moved up stoutly at the turn for home but went wide in the last eighth, finishing tiring.
