Polaris Annexes Detroit Opener by Three Lengths Prahs Chases Mrs. J. C. Sawyers Veteran Son of Nassak to Wire Continued from Page One showed signs of having had enough when settled for the final drive and Prahs took command momentarily when he faltered. Polaris had plenty left when the real issue came and, responding to Lasswells rousing, passed the leaders without difficulty and drew out steadily in the run to the final marker. Prahs hung on determinedly during the final sixteenth and outfinished the tiring .Leading Actor for the place award. Twelve maiden three-year-olds met in the second race of six furlongs and it resulted in a graduation victory for Euall Wyatts Last Bubble, a member of the mutuel field., Mrs. E. Harts Piplad finished second, a neck behind the winner and three and a half lengths before Rogers and Drakes Nancy Baby, who accounted for the minor portion of the purse. Tower Stables Jezara, favored for the sprint, failed to beatva horse. Last Bubble covered the distance in 1:12, after which he rewarded his supporters with a 2.60 mutuel return and completed the Daily Double, worth 12.
