Taddywawa Succumbs Shortly After Dropping Colt Foal CRETE, 111., May 28. Taddywawa, a consistent winner during her racing career and one of the more valued of the brood mares at John Mikels farm near Carlock, 111., is dead. The 16-year-old daughter of Hand Grenade and Leggogal succumbed within a short time after foaling a colt at the Mikel place. Her offspring lived but three days.
