PRINCE PUCK, a forward factor from thg start, faltered in the closing stages. DARING FEAT tired aftefdisplaying good speed for three-eighths. ICY RUN was done early. CAMP VERDE took command before going a quarter, set the pace the first half mile under pressure from ANXIETY and disposed of the latter, but could not withstand-the winner. ANXIETY, much used engaging CAMP VERDE to the stretch, "faltered in the drive. LAST GOLD was unable to threaten. BOOM ON was never dangerous. The latter took command when BRIGHT ANN faltered, then held on well when hard urged in the stretch and just failed to last. BANKER JIM improved his position steadily after leaving the back stretch; but could not reach the leaders when subjected to punishment in the drive; MAE H., Jar back and outrun for three-quarters, came to the inside on the final turn and closed resolutely. SIDOUT finished strongly. ARANMORE was done after a half mile. VALDINA. FIRO was always far back. BRIGHT ANN raced forwardly placed to the stretch, then gave way suddenly.
