United Hunts Meet July 4; Proceeds, for War Relief ELMONT, L. I., N. Y., May 28. Lewis E. Waring:, president of the United" Hunts Racing: Association, announces Hhat the United Hunts is making: necessary plans to hold their meeting: on July 4, 1942, at the Piping: Rock Club, Locust Valley, Long: Island, as they did last year. The program for that day will be patterned after last years card of three steeplechases, two hurdle races and two on the flat, one of these flat races being- the Cocktail Party Sweepstakes which event was so popular last year the race had to be run in two divisions. On that day the United Hunts is generously donating all the net profits accruing" to them from pari-mutuel vagering-to the Navy Relief Society and Army Emergency Fund. The officers and directors are doing everything in their power to make this meeting the most successful in their 38 years of racing and, as they are giving away aft profits to Army and Navy Relief, they hope for the publics generous support.
