Aussie May Ride Here ELMONT, L; I., N. Y., May 28. Alf Dris-coll, second leading steeplechase rider in Australia,- probably will make his first appearance in America this week at Belmont Park. Driscoll, now a seaman in the service of the Australian merchant marine, arrived in this country recently, and his ffrst act was to communicate with Fred H. . Parks, secretary of the National Steeplechase and Hunts Association. What he desired of Parks was to secure a mount in a-steeplechase race at Belmont . Park, and. Parks thinks he will be able to oblige the visitor from down under on either Thursdays or Fridays card. Driscoll tips the beam at 138 pounds, and the scrapbook he carries with him testifies to his prowess in flat races as well as through the field.
