Goff s Quelle Belle, second in the same race, again likely to provide the chief contention. Another formidable member of the group is Carl Hanfords Boggin Bob, who finished third in the same contest. In their first raCe, Sewed Up and Quelle Belle each carried 115 pounds, while Bog-gin Bob shouldered 120. Under the conditions of tomorrows race Sewed Up and Quelle Belle each will carry 113 pounds, while Boggin Bob will take up 118. Roeblings Manipur looms the early choice in the second section of the Navesink, although under the conditions of the race the gray gelded son of Mahmoud Invoke, will have to shoulder 121 pounds. Arrayed against Manipur are such good sprinter rivals as I Did, Flake, Agilant, Hat Trick, War Scandal, The Shaker and Uncle Doc. Manipur has revealed a liking for the Monmouth Park track both in workouts and actual competition. The gelding turned in a corking effort last Thursday when he ran second to Twin Oaks Farms Glad Time while the latter was setting a new track record of 1:11 for six furlongs at this point. Manipur, carrying 122 pounds on that occasion, set the early pace, but permitted Glad Time to come on and catch him in the final eighth of a mile. That hard race may have sharpened Manipur for tomorrows engagement. Agilant, owned by the Win Sue Farm, was a good second behind Marys Dell in a race on Saturdays program, and may provide Manipur with his staunchest opposition. C. A. ONeil, Jr.s, I Did performed in the same race last week with Glad Time and Manipur and maj improve off that effort in which he finished fifth. Considerable interest is being manifest in Wednesdays five and one-half furlongs New Jersey Futurity, which will be the first futurity run in the Garden State in 53 years. Carrying a 0,000 purse, the New Jersey Futurity appears destined to attract a stellar field of two-year-olds homebreds At present W. H. LaBoyteaux fleet filly, Pipette, smashing winner of last Wednesdays Colleen Stakes, is the early choice to add the futurity to her increasing victory skein. At least six juveniles, all of whom have revealed unmistakable indications of possessing racing class, are expected to accept the Futurity issue in addition to Pipette. In the group are Wishmeluck, Corinth and Sea Weed, owned by J. M Roebling; Royal Governor, Top Trick and Peace Harbor.
