Keeneland Sales Catalogs To Be in Mails on Friday ARTJNGTON PARK, Arlington Heights, HI., June 24. George B. "Brownie" Leach, executive secretary of the Breeders Sales Company, today arrived at Arlington Park, where he will remain most of the week in the interest of next months summer sale of yearlings at Keeneland race course. Leach said the purpose of his trip was to assist horsemen planning on attending the sales in any way he could. Catalogs for the sale will be placed in the mails Friday of this week. There will be 428 yearlings in the 1946 book representing 95 consignors, the largest number of breeders ever to be on hand for the Keeneland summer vendue. The sales official said that work of air conditioning the sales pavilion at Keeneland was expected to be completed this week and that the test of the plant would be run soon. Only one change has been made in the catalog for the 1946 sale. An index to all stallions represented by yearlings in the book will be included, together with the hip numbers of all colts and fillies by each sire.
