Trackmens Observations By D. S. Fair Arlington CAPROCK Maiden two - year - old gave sharp effort in only Arlington start and should soon graduate. SONS STYLE Top class plater is ready to defeat band of sprinters at six furlongs. KILGOBBIN Only, outing here was impressive and an eligible to a maiden three-year-old race. BLUE SEAL Flashed smart speed in a recent outing here and looks like a steady sort who will get the money. BAREFOOT LAD "Slim" Roles has this youngster all set for a keen effort against maiden two-year-olds. Several good spots in the book. OLGA S. Moves up several pounds in the mud, but is good right now and is capable of winning on any type of track. PETSOME Catch this rlater against ,000 sprinters at seven-eighths or more. Closed much ground after slow start in recent race. LAURAMAR Wasnt good enough for Maud Lea the other day, but there are other suitable races in the offing. DISDOMO Didnt show his best performance recently. Capable of holding own against fair sprinters. CHOPPY SEA Believe this old fellow would like a seven-eighths or more for top effort. Back in top shape. RICHMOND JAC Heres one in the Mrs. Ada L. Rice barn with loads of class and he may beat some of the best routers. SASSY PATRICIA Was rushed too hard during the early stages of recent race and tired. Is fond of the turf course here. GENL MANAGER Old fellow prefers to be rated off the pace. Was rushed up too fast the other day. Very good now. CONVALESCENT Flashed fine speed for part of the journey the other day, but tired as if in need of further conditiori-ing. May surprise. By H. J. McGuire Detroit "EMPRESS HELENA, A two-year-old maiden filly who has demonstrated that she is ready for the winners circle. IBEX Gifted with early speed, this one should last long enough next trip. Is a cheap sort but - Jesse Trent has him ready. BERT G. Flashed keen early speed in recent second. Should stretch it out next trip. PASSAGEWAY The Mrs. J. W. Parrish representative won so very easily in muddy going that he must be expected to repeat. BAYONET Belongs in ,500 to ,000 company. Has good speed to keep out of trouble. MEMORY BOSS Came from far back to be third recently and left the impression that more early speed would win a purse. PERE MARKETTE Appeared to have needed that last race to perfect his condition. VALDINA TYRANT Closed a good gap to be second from a slow beginning. Just a question of proper placing. YANK BOMBER An easy winner who should retain that good form to score again. VICTIM Has not shown his best race lo-- cally but appears to be rounding to peak condition. SNAPPY VERSE A ,000 plater who was weakly handled by a novice rider. Must be cheaply placed. GALLANT FOOT Beaten when held at odds-on, this maiden two-year-old has speed. ALL GOOD Connections are looking for . a spot to atone for a defeat when installed favorite. BUILDER A useful sort in clever hands. Should be heard from soon. By E. P. Heagerty Delaware CAMBRIC Forget this ones last race and concentrate on winning effort and good trials. Is razor sharp. VIVA TEDDY Was bothered while attempting to move through on the inside and take command in last. Race may have put him on edge for route win. ROMANOCK Showed improvement in sprint race last week and seems ready for a victory at any distance. NOBLE CYCLOPS Ran out entering the stretch while finishing third behind Chally Mally. Should find a suitable spot this week. EVEN BREAK This gray ghost is the only Mexican horse to reach the winners circle here and did so in impressive style. TAVISTOCK Winning race suggested this youngster is capable of beating a fair band, even when stretched out a trifle. UPPER LEVEL Trainer "Doc" Jones has kept this filly on edge for numerous victories. Probably will be confined to sprints. MUSIC Had practically no chance with the start last time out, but turned in a creditable race to be beaten less than lour lengths by good fillies. MEADOW MAID May be a tough filly to whip over a distance of ground now that she has attained winning form. Horses listed here impressed Daily Racing Form representatives as being ready to win. J DECLARE Turned in a disappointing race when well fancied in last. May make amends in near future. OBEROD Maiden juvenile filly who should earn brackets when she develops a bit of early speed. LINZA May lead throughout if kept in the sprint ranks against ,500 platers. BEAUS NURSE A bit better than generally regarded. Should take a dash against middle-grade claimers. WINTER WHEAT Has developed into a classy sort of filly. May be tried at a distance of ground in the near future. LITTLE BUNNY Showed a good race while finishing third to stablemate. Needs a sprint for best effort. RINGTHEBELL Should not have been beaten last time out. Ought to graduate at first asking this week. , By C. J. Connors Empire FIRE BOMB This youngster raced green in debut and should show to better advantage with continued racing. STATION Raced well last time out and a slight drop in classification will help this miss. TIGRELL Was forced to race on the outside in last start and showed a good effort. UTTERMOST Recent races will help this one and in own classification should be a factor. HARP STRINGS This one is on the cheap side but may find a spot in the near future. SCRIBE Accounted for a purse last time out and is on the improve. Should win another. MEDALIST Is training nicely and recent races have been good. MISS BLACKOUT Has early speed and may like the short stretch at Jamaica. TIARA V Has early speed and the addition of blinkers has improved this one. IMA FASTONE Last race below expectation and a change in riders may help. HAPPY LARK This one has early speed and may stick it out in cheaper company. SUNLETTE Has worked well but recent races below expectation. Can improve. WESTERN FRONT Likes a route and is about seasoned for a good effort. DARBY DEVON A drop in company will help this one who closed ground steadily in recent starts. CHALDON HEATH Trials have been good and a return to best form appears not far off. By A. E. BrownJSuffolk YLEE BAR An aging router who is rounding to top form. Needs only astute placing. SMOKE PUFF Bad racing luck cost this one top honors in his last. Needs only to be kept on straight course to make amends against the same company. HEMDAY Frank Gilpin has this one ready for a winning effort. A slight drop in class would enhance her chances. VANS VICKIE The four-year-old son of Menow will benefit from lone outing here and slight improvement should find him back in winning form. BUS V. Z. This Burgoo King gelding showed signs of improvement in a recent effort to suggest a winning performance is on tap. CHEVALIER A better-than-average colt that has found his winning stride and should go on to defeat better than he recently romped over. BALMY SPRING Former Bradleyite who has been returned to racing after a long rest. Last indicates his fitness to account for cheap sprint. HONEYTOWN May have needed last to complete conditioning. Is from the winning barn of William Helis. TRACELETTE A useful distance performer that trainer Lucien Laurin has fit as hands can make him. DON MILLER A good Florida winner that showed a flash of his better form in last. May be tough to handle in next appearance. JELLICO Has won his last two and appears capable of continuing present wining ways. PATRIOTISM This one has worked sensationally and can improve over recent effort. TRIPOS Is ready for a winning effort after being slow in responding to training. An early graduation is anticipated. HARRIETS GIFT Apparently was in need of lone outing over local strip. Improvement is likely. PANHANDLE Displayed a promising effort after long rest. Will like the added distance of juvenile events. By J. J. Hahn Fair mount ANOTHER TIME Has had a long rest and may need a race or two before being tightened enough. Has outworked fast horses quartered on the grounds. May win a heat before the close of the local meeting. WATCH CHILLA A winner at the meeting and have found another suitable spot. RANKINS BOY Appeared to dislike the soft footing which prevailed when he finished third to Double Light and War Train. Should leave the ranks of non-winners in the near future. LAST WALTZ Connections are dropping her down gradually. Shell be down with company of her own class during the week. TEE BEAU You can throw out past several races on this fellow. Look for him to win another dash before the close of the meeting. FLEET IMP Lost lots of ground racing wide and is ready to earn brackets. HULA GAL Fresh from Ohio campaign. Should find a cheap field she can trim. PARALARIS A three-year-old maiden who has been racing in tough luck. Is a speedy youngster and may earn brackets when placed in right spot. SUE ADELL A cheap filly but she should do the trick one of these days. Is knocking at the door. WINNEBAGO Waiting to send this maiden a distance of ground. EARLY N SMART Has been absent from competition because marathon races haze failed to fill. There may be an event at a mile and one-quarter during last week of the meeting which will suit this one. SPANISH BELLE Waiting for the right spot for a distance event. Has been sprinting but is ready for route performances. JUST WE TWO A real tough three-year-old capable of Holding own with the best of her age racing here. By W. C. PhiliipTOmaha QUOTUM Gave an excellent effort in his last race despite the fact that he lacked running room for a quarter of a mile before the stretch run and then finished fast. Soft footing and luck will help. DES GRIEUX Has performed dully in all of his efforts, but is being prepped for a winning race, which will be a distance race and preferably over an "off" track. BLUE FAWN Has been a victim of bad racing luck in her only two defeats at the meeting, being caught in a speed jam the first time and going in the air at the break in her last. Still retains her speed and is able to show the way to any here over the five furlongs short route. LAKE VIEW ACE Has been running over his head and on a muddy track which does not suit him. Stable is dropping him back where he belongs. COO CASE One of the best Nebraska-breds seen in action at the meeting. If not placed too high may prove difficult to beat at any distance. WESTY CHINIQUY Will make the speedsters take notice in his next sprint. Possesses a world of lick and is just rounding into form. COWLAN Finished fastest in a one mile and 70 yards handicap here in which he was beaten two heads to finish third. With a probable advantage in weights and a few added yards he should take it all. HIKE Despite the fast-finishing distance runners here, at a claiming price of ,500 or less and traversing one mile and an eighth up to two niles, he can outlast them all. BRAHMAN BOY Speedy two-year-old has run well while profiting from experience. RECALLING Was a surprise victor in the spring. Could lengthen her margin of victory over a distance and may double whatever that may be if the racing strip is at least damp. CHTPAMINK Is undoubtedly the outstanding sprinter on the grounds. From his easy triumph here and known class, it is hard to see how he can be defeated. MR. SKID Consistent Nebraska-bred plater was much the best in his last effort in which he was carried wide in the drive and the jockey lost his whip entering the stretch. ZOIL Is practically bursting with readiness for an impending victory. Has been performing honestly and should make her next one count. By W. A. Cruse Randall JOES FAVORITE Recent effort in a three-year-old maiden event indicates this one may enter the winners circle in the very near future. ARIEL TRIP Disregard last effort. Should go well with an ordinary field of sprinters and a fast strip will help. PLAY WISE Has an abundance of early speed and should earn graduation papers when placed in a race for maiden three-year-olds of a fair sort. DARK DANGER Had early speed in a ,500 claimer. This should act as a conditioner for future good efforts with the same sort of company. HIGHPAT Needs only to come back off a recent trial to greet the judges. Not too much class but an honest sort. PILGRIM MAID Needs only a bit of racing luck and a strong armed pilot to earn brackets. LEAD-EM-ALL Was getting to the winner in last effort. Next outing should find this one a winner. HADATIME Went well in last toy and improvement is expected soon. Should score in a fair sprint. MACKS GEM Disappointed favorite last outing when he closed in a belated rush. Likes a route and should earn brackets the next time. PONCHARTRAIN Scored so impressively in last that it is impossible to overlook this one when meeting the same class on a fast strip. DARGLO A bad post actor but his recent victory shows many winning efforts will be forthcoming. TURNCOAT Disregard his last dull effort over a sloppy track. Should score shortly under an energetic pilot. NOISILY A fair sort of allowance event should find this one In front from wire to wire. Can go a sprint or a route.
