GOODFORME had good speed to open a clear lead immediately after the start, saved ground and was never seriously, threatened. MR. X raced closest to the winner throughout and made a feeble bid through the stretch, but was not good enough. SKI DAD was a forward factor all the way, but was unable to improve his position. GRAY DOTTIE improved her position steadily from a slow beginning. VALDINA BINA was never dangerous. BABY SNUFF was never a contender in a dull effort. FLASH A TAN, steadied within reach of the early leaders on the backstretch, went to the outside for the drive, responded well to take command and drek out easily. DATSO had early speed to take a short lead, was not hurried when PLAYFUL JANE was sent to the front, hung on well, but was no match for the winner. PLAYFUL JANE disposed of DATSO to take command on the turn, opened up a clear lead in the stretch, but flattened out. AIR GEE raced forwardly and evenly, but was unable to threaten. ASTOUND lacked early speed and could not engage the leaders. Overweight Datsto, 3 pounds; Playful Jane, 4; Trudie Did, 1. Playful Jane claimed by J. Trent. TOLECA had speed from the start, shook off THREE SIXTY early, met the bid of CARMELITA H. stubbornly and came on again gamely to be up in the final stride. CARMELITA H. had early speed, saved ground on the turn, took a short lead in the stretch and Just failed to last. GLORY WAC, unable to match the speed of the early leaders, was taken to the outside for the drive and closed gamely. GRAY LASS raced evenly in a contending position, made a stout bid in the stretch, but hung. RIVER BABY was never prominent. GIRLSOME was never prominent in a dull effort.
