Closing of Detroit Stakes FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 17.— Entries for the 5,000 Frontier Handicap, six furlongs for three-year-olds, close tomorrow. On Saturday, May 21, the 5,000 Colonel F. M. Alger Memorial Handicap, nine furlongs for three-year-olds and older, and the ,500 Grosse Point Handicap, six furlongs for horses from the same age divisions, close for nomination.
