Calumet Sells Seven Racers To Ra I p h L Lowe o f Texa s LEXINGTON, Ky., May"l7.— Paul Ebel-hardt, farm manager of Calumet, returned from Maryland yesterday. He reports "that the farm has sold seven thoroughbreds to Ralph L. Lowe, an oil man from Midland, Texas. The horses sold include the two older horses, Fine Fettle and Wright Angle, a two-year-old filly, Regal and four unnamed yearlings. Fine Fettle, Wright Angle and Regal will be raced in the Chicago sector under trainer Gerald Bloss. The yearlings will be shipped to Louisville where they will be turned out until mid-July when they will be taken up and broken. Bloss, a personal friend of Ebel-hardts, completed the transaction for his patron. Fine Fettle, a winner at the Keene-land meeting, is a half brother to De Luxe. L ; , . ; .
