Announce Official Staff For Delaware Meeting Flanagan, Brown and Harron To Serve in Stewards Stand WILMINGTON, Del., May 17.— Delaware Park has completed its official family for the forthcoming meeting, beginning May 28 and running 32 continuous racing days. Although there will be a number of new faces among the officials, they are not strangers to racing and horsemen. Two of the new officials will be patrol judges | John T. Kermath and Alfred L. "Freddie" Stevens. The three stewards will be Joseph F. Flanagan of Monkton, Md.,~ representing the Delaware Racing Commission; George Brown, Jr., of Brooklandville, Md., representing The Jockey Club, and William L. Harron of Brooms Island, Md., the associations representative. The visiting member of The Jockey Club will be James Butler, president of Empire City. Flanagan also will be the steward representing the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association, with George Brooke m. of Philadelphia, and James Park of New York as alternates. The official staff follows: Stewards — Joseph F. Flanagan, George Brown, Jr., William L. Harron. Placing judges — Allan W. Lavin, Eugene Dennison, John P. Turner, Jr., alternate: John P. Turner, Sr., alternate; W. R. Dahl strom, alternate. Starter — George R. Palmer. Racing secretary — J. Gilbert Haus. Visiting member of The Jockey Club — James Butler. Patrol judges — John T. Kermath, Henry Erickson, Alfred L. Stevens, Richard A. Johnson. Clerk of scales — James Picarillo. Paddock judge — William Jennings. Timer — August Abadie. Veterinarian — Dr. David W. Crisman.
