Young Named Guild Head BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L.I., N. Y., May 17. — At a meeting of the board of directors of the Jockeys Guild held today, Sterling Young was named to the post of secretary and general manager, succeeding John P. "Pat" Kelly who resigned. Young is a former president of the organization, and retired from the saddle ranks this year. He assumed his new post immediately.
