Joliet Trot Offered Is In Two Divisions Tonight Spud Hart and Victory Moon Seen As Favorites in Respective Ends AURORA DOWNS, Aurora, 111., May 17. — Nineteen trotters have been named for tomorrow nights Aurora Downs feature, the ,500 divided Joliet Trot, and the race has been split into two sections with 10 horses in the first and nine in the second. The large field represents a drop of only four horses from the original nomination list of 23 that was filed March 28, and continues the trend of over-sized stake fields that has marked Auroras early season features. Two horses who were opening week winners will be favored to repeat in the Joliet. They are Spud Hart, owned by Ben Mag-ness of Miller, South Dakota, and Victory Moon, owned by Olson, Yahn and Fenn of Joliet, 111. Victory Moon won his first Aurora start last Saturday night and could send the prize money for the second section of the Joliet right back to that city. Spud Hart is in the first section of the race. Among those challenging Spud Hart in both the 6 -furlong and mile divisions of the first section will be Current Hope, Magnesium, Hark Hark and J. D. Grattan. Another entrant in the first section is Calumet Do, who has finished second in his last two Aurora starts. Victory Moons rivals include Celias Counsel, an even money favorite last week in a mile event in which she led until the stretch and then faded to fifth, and Sweet Prince, a five-year-old son of Volomite. Mrs. Forrest Burrights popular Puzzette will start in a fast eight-horse field in the sixth race, a mile 13-class pace.
