-Jockeys Lonqden, Shoemaker Suspended Three Days Each HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 18. — Jockeys Johnny Longden and William Shoemaker receivedshort suspensions under rulings issued today by the Hollywood Park stewards. The rulings follow: "For careless riding, causing interference, When up on Sun Rene in the seventh race on May 16, jockey Johnny Longden is suspended for three racing days, May 19 to May 24, inclusive. During the period of his suspension, jockey Longden will be permitted to fulfill stakes engagements on file. "For careless riding, causing interference, when up on Sea Novice in the fourth race on May 16, jockey William Shoemaker is suspended for three racing days May 19 to nandIay 24, inclusive. During the period of his suspension, jockey Shoemaker will be permitted to fulfill stakes engagements on file."
