Hoffman to Confer With HBPA Horsemen at Ak-Sar-Ben Oval WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, HI., May 18.— Harold C. Hoffman, secretary and treasurer of the Midwestern Division of the HBPA, will arrive Monday at Ak-Sar-Ben where he will confer with horsemen at that track. Hoffman, before returning to Chicago, will visit Fairmount Park, May 24. Previous to his departure, Hoffman and Leonard M. Bernard purchased Clover Miss from Milton Resseguet. Clover Miss in the future will race under the colors of the Arlington Farms, nom de course of the Hoffman-Bernard partnership.
